Industrial gear lubricants

Alpha SP range

Mineral oil gear oils fortified with additives to impart anti wear and extreme pressure properties. Recommended for industrial gearboxes with pressure circulation or splash and oil bath lubrication.

Alphasyn T range

Synthetic PAO (Poly Alpha Olefin) base gear oil. Blended with anti wear additives. Suitable for high temperature gears and bearings, requiring non extreme pressure performance. Higher viscosity grade have been successful in paper manufacturing central lube systems.

The products are compatible with conventional sealing materials and paints and is fully miscible with mineral oil.

Alphasyn EP range

Synthetic PAO (Poly Alpha Olefin) base gear oil. Blended with extreme pressure additives. Suitable for wide temperature gear, bearing and circulation systems where extreme pressure and anti scuff performance is required.

The products are compatible with conventional sealing materials and paints and is fully miscible with mineral oil.

Key Approvals- David Brown, Getribebau Nord, Lohmann & Stoltenfoht

Alphasyn PG

Synthetic PAG (Polyglycol) base gear oil permits operation at high loads and continuous high temperature. Excellent performance applied to worm and spur gear units where extreme pressure additive is required PAG base fluid allows for an increase in service life over conventional mineral oil, allowing for increased maintenance intervals.

Alphasyn PG synthetic oils have different material compatibilities than mineral oils. The following are satisfactory:-

  • Seals: Nitrile, Silicone, Neoprene , Viton, Hexafluoropropylene, Silicone rubber, Natural rubber, Hypalon, Butyl rubber
  • Paints recommended: Epoxy resin based paints
