Low temperature reference fuels

Optimum Oils Ltd supply specialised cold start diesel fuel “Optifluid CS”. The fuel has an exceptionally low cloud and pour point and is used as a calibration and reference fuel for low temperature engine testing to -40°C. Temperatures at which normal diesel fluid would freeze.

The product is used extensively by most of the major diesel engine manufacturers, OEM’s, laboratories and test houses involved in supplying diesel engines into cold climates.
